What is TRC Fit?

TRC Fit is the name of the Redwood Club’s new fitness programming so you can find the help you need to get in the best shape of your life.

It all begins with your Starting Point. It’s included in your membership, so sign up here and come away with valuable information about how you can get a road map that will take you where you want to go on your fitness journey.

TRC Fit programming is sure to keep you entertained while giving you the kick in the pants you need. TRC Fit challenges mind and muscle with full-body interval training. Favoring compound exercises like pushups over isolation exercises (like bicep curls), TRC Fit maximizes fat burn and functional strength development.

TRC Fit will also keep your body guessing by using undulating periodization. This method of exercise cycles intensity and volume over a period of weeks, preventing the dreaded plateau. By varying your weights, sets, and reps in this manner, you target different types of muscle fibers during each workout. Your body must constantly adapt to this variation, keeping you progressing toward your fitness goals.

Pilates Reformer

Shockwave

The 30 or 45 minute workout is cross-training at its best, helping you build strength, endurance, and cardiovascular power, as well as, coordination, agility, and flexibility.

Shockwave class Details

Shockwave Circuit

This circuit challenge utilizes a specially designed WaterRower machine to provide short-burst, high-intensity, calorie-torching intervals along with functional strength and sculpting stations designed to target and chisel the legs, the core and the arms.

Sports Conditioning

A more challenging and rigorous aqua aerobics workout.

The Pool
Redwood Club offers a place for its members to enjoy lap swimming, Aqua Aerobics, and even Sports Conditioning. Classes are available six days a week and a Full Schedule is available on our website. The pool is available to members 16 years and older.
